Reliable

Its components are built to last and only require general appliance maintenance and servicing.

Dust & Allergy Free

Hydronic heating systems minimize the spread of allergens and dust mites since it doesn’t force air out through ducts.

Comfort

It operates as a radiant heat source without drying the air or creating hot spots.

Efficient

Hydronic heating models are generally cheaper to operate than traditional heating systems due to their energy-efficient design.

Safe

It keeps the heated water in an enclosed system, so there’s no risk of burning even if you touch the radiator.

Still have questions?

Electricity and gas costs are only increasing every year, and building codes are also becoming stricter. The government is requiring Australians to use energy-saving measures. A convenient and practical solution to these are hydronic heating systems, wall-hung radiator panels, underfloor pipes, hydronic heated towel rails and other sustainable hydronic heating solutions for homes & workplaces.

One of the best sources of sustainable warmth is a hydronic heating system, which can be powered by gas, electricity, or wood. Depending on your needs and preferences, you can select systems that deliver heat through radiator panels or in-floor pipe networks. These systems also work with hydronic heated towel rails. They are convenient, silent, and give off draught-free heat.

Our systems can be powered by solar power, wood combustion energy, natural gas, or LPG, which are all sustainable. We also provide electrical heat pumps that can be used on or
off-grid as sustainable electrical heating systems.

Is Hydronic Heating Energy-Efficient?

Generally, hydronic heating keeps your house warm by moving hot water through a series of pipes and radiators. It can also radiate heat through hydronic towel rails. Since water is a better heat conductor than air, this system requires less energy to run than a traditional heating mechanism that relies on forced air circulation.

This heating system also provides you with the option to use wood burner boilers or condensing boilers[HB2] , which are boilers fueled by gas. Wood burners can provide direct and centralized heating to various parts of the house. Whereas condensing boilers can be used as a standalone unit or be integrated with other modular systems.

Is Hydronic Heating Expensive?

Although the installation cost of a hydronic heating system involves an initial investment that can seem on the pricey side, it makes up for it through the savings you’ll long be able to enjoy from your home’s energy bills.

Cost efficiency of these systems is due in part to hydronic heating units requiring less energy to run than forced air models. And hydronic heating allows you to use affordable energy sources, such as wood or gas.

The Sophel Hydronic Boiler for instance is a centralized heating wood burner, with a heat output that can effectively warm a 400-square-meter area and can also deliver hot water, providing additional savings into the future.
