Example 1: Wood Heater System

John contacted WISELIVING about a wood heater to heat his home. On discussion, he discovered he could also connect the wood heater to a hot water tank to heat hot water in winter and install a solar system to heat his hot water in Summer. John now no longer pays for his hot water separately as it is heated up while his wood heater heats his home and in the Summer he gets it free from the sun!

The hot water jackets come in 5kw and 8kw sizes to supply your domestic hot water needs and can even heat up a towel rail in the bathroom or small hydronic radiator.

Example 2: Hydronic System

Moira had experienced hydronic heating while staying at a friend's home and wanted to see if she could install it in her home as well. After speaking with the friendly team at WISELIVING she found out she could source all she needed from the wall-hung radiators and towel rails to the hot water tank and wood-fired hydronic boiler.

Example 3: Wood Stove System

Linda is building her dream home and has always wanted a wood stove to complete her kitchen. She has been researching her options and decided on a Thermalux Grand Cuisine. She likes this model because not only is it Australian made and a genuine four-oven cooking stove but it can also be installed with a 16kw boiler which will also run the infloor hydronic heating throughout her home.

The Grand Cuisine is a genuine four-oven cooking stove with a huge array of facilities. Hot water options include a 5kw stainless steel water jacket for domestic hot water up to 400 litres, an 8kw stainless steel water jacket for larger domestic and some small hydronic projects and a 16kw boiler for larger hydronic heating projects up to 160m2 .

Your Infloor Heating connects to your hydronic boiler

Infloor Heating is an unobtrusive form of heating your home. With the distribution manifold operation being housed in a plant room or cupboard the infloor part of the system is invisible.

Water at a temperature of approx 45C-50C is pumped from the heat source and through a mixing valve, which regulates the temperature, around the pipe and therefore heating the floor. The heat source can be a wood-fired boiler, gas-fired boiler or even a heat-pump system.
