The Inbuilt Christo is available in single-sided and double-sided configurations, allowing it to suit a range of architectural and heating applications. Its minimalist surround frames the large ceramic glass viewing window, showcasing the fire while helping deliver consistent radiant heat. The hinged door opens to 180Β° for straightforward operation and easier fuel loading, while the air controls allow the burn rate and heat output to be managed during operation.
Constructed from fully welded, heavy-duty steel, the Inbuilt Christo is built for strength, durability and long service life. It is available as a dry unit, or with optional boiler configurations for domestic hot water, hydronic heating, or both. Boiler options include 5kW, 8kW, 20kW, 30kW and 45kW outputs, allowing the unit to support a wide range of heating requirements, from supplementary hot water through to larger whole-home hydronic systems.

Frequently Asked Questions
What type of wood is best?
Use only well-seasoned (dry) hardwood. For best results, wood should be cut and stored under cover for at least two years. Wet or green wood reduces heat output and causes excessive smoke and creosote buildup.
How much wood should I use?
For best performance, we recommend loading the firebox well rather than running the heater with only a small amount of wood. A fuller firebox helps the unit reach and maintain strong heat output, which is especially important for models fitted with a boiler or water jacket, where consistent firebox temperature supports better heat transfer to the water.
How do I reduce smoke when lighting?
Start with all air controls fully open. Use plenty of dry kindling and smaller pieces of wood initially to get the fire roaring before adding larger logs.
Can it be used as an open fire?
Yes, all Christo models can be fitted with an optional "double acting" door that slides up, allowing you to enjoy the heater as a genuine open fireplace.
Can it heat my water?
Yes. The Christo can be factory-fitted with various hot water jackets (5kW, 8kW, 20kW, 30kW, 45kW boiler) to provide domestic hot water or run hydronic heating systems. It can also be integrated with solar hot water systems
