Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best wood to use?
For best performance and long-term durability, use only dry, seasoned Australian hardwood. AHHA recommend using firewood with less than 20% moisture content.
Why is there water coming from the bottom of my boiler?
This is usually condensation, not a leak. Condensation can occur when the firebox does not maintain a consistent operating temperature and is allowed to cool too often, or when the wood being burned is green or not properly seasoned. For best performance, always use dry firewood and check the moisture content before burning.
